Everyone between the ages of 13 and 64 should get tested for HIV at least once because routine testing is an important and normal part of self-care.

HIV Antibody Test
This condition damages your immune system and can lead to serious illness, infections and many other symptoms. The first part is an initial blood screen. A negative result means there are no antibodies and p24 antigen in your blood. If positive the lab will run an HIV-1 test to determine the type of HIV Virus.
